Lauren Graham was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Donna Grant and Lawrence Graham an industry lobbyist in the field of candy. Lauren Graham is Irish, English and Scottish origin. Her mother was born in her native American South and her father from New York. Her birthplace was in Northern Virginia, USA. (Fairfax, Arlington, Great Falls, VA). She graduated from Langley High School, McLean, VA. Graduated Barnard College, with a bachelor's degree in English. Graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Master's degree in acting.
